One of our favourite instant photography masters, Marjolaine Vuarnesson, is having a solo exhibition in Paris soon. Marjolaine, whose double exposure pieces we admired at our own recent exhibition “The Decisive Light”, is a photographer who is super passionate about what she does, she can talk about her passion for hours. Marjolaine invents a world for us in which we would like to spend the rest of our days and if possible, surrounded by her ultimately enigmatic works.
For this solo exhibition Marjolaine will present her new Polaroids with her unique double exposure style. Marjoulaine will reveal how nature covers the city to recompose the city of her dreams, the one where nature would be more present. Beside that, the expo reveals a melancholy through a narration more poetic than in Marjolaine’s previous works and it is perceived in all of the exhibited photos. For this solo exhibition, Marjolaine is collaborating with a ceramics artist Anne Deberly.
The exhibition will take place from 3 to 28 April in Galerie Rastoll, Paris.
