When you think of Dutch cities, for most people Amsterdam comes to mind. But the Netherlands have other beautiful cities to offer. Utrecht is one of these gems where we went for a short trip and combined this with a concert of Brendan Perry, one half of the duo Dead Can Dance.
We made good use of our time, exploring the small alleys, picturesque canals, beautiful small boutiques and extraordinary bars – for example the Grand Café Lebowski that entranced us with its interior full of curiosities and great beer selection.
With only two hour drive away from our hometown (one of the advantages of living in Europe), I am very sure that this won’t be our last visit to this lovely town!
