We once had the opportunity to exhibit our photos beside work by Irene Moray in an exhibition related to nudity and fashion. For us this was a challenge as we had obviously developed our work in Polaroid format. We remember that the day of the event we arrived an hour early to see how they had displayed our photos and, after have found that nothing had been prepared, we and the other photographers worked against the clock to set things straight. Amid the heavy work, we had the pleasant opportunity to admire some very sensual and professional-looking photos that we decided to put next to our own with the idea that everyone would have to see them together, creating a sort of a domino effect. Since then many years have passed and the pleasure to have Irene and a selection of her work included in our project honours us and produces respect, because aside from being a great photographer she is a professional who we greatly admire. Her photos in Polaroid are a little secret that we have wanted to share since we have started POTD. Irene is another example of that for us #nothingisimpossible.
Hace tiempo tuvimos la oportunidad de encontrarnos exponiendo nuestras fotos junto a Irene Moray en una presentación de fotos relacionadas con el desnudo y la moda, algo que para nosotros fue un reto y que obviamente desarrollamos en formato Polaroid.
Aún recordamos que el día del evento llegamos una hora antes para ver como habían puesto nuestras fotos y al encontrar que no habían preparado nada, entre otros fotógrafos y nosotros nos pusimos a trabajar contra reloj. En medio de ese pesado trabajo nos quedamos con la grata sensación de admirar unas fotos muy sensuales y super profesionales que decidimos ponerlas junto a las nuestras, con la seguridad de que todos tendrían que verlas juntas por efecto dominó.
De esto ya han pasado varios años, y el placer de tenerla para nuestro proyecto con una selección de su trabajo nos honra y produce respeto, porque aparte de ser una gran fotógrafa es una profesional a la que admiramos mucho.
Sus fotos en formato Polaroid son un pequeño secreto que queriamos compartir desde que comenzamos con POTD. Irene es otro ejemplo de que para nosotros #nothingisimpossible
