To enjoy a sunny blue sky in a city like Copenhagen in the middle of the winter is like receiving a present without celebrating anything special: you are invaded by a mix of surprise and deep gratitude, and you enjoy it more than ever.
There, connecting the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, the city of Andersen’s Little Mermaid shines like a Pearl in the cold north. The Danish capital has everything that somebody can ask for: from the charm of its architecture to the pleasant bustle of its streets and terraces when the sun rises, the smile of its inhabitants, the green of its parks, the color of its houses and the insouciance of its untied bikes among the street.
If Danish people exceed in something, without a doubt it is in design, as any curious one who visits the Design Museum will notice. Their talent resides in the detail: the elegant lampposts on the street, the tables on the terrace of the bars or the sophisticated decoration of any place on Elmegade street in Nørrebro.
From Copenhagen we like its captivating corners, its perfect appearance and its groundbreaking essence as in the free city of Christiania. In this wonderful city we would stay the whole life, wandering between the cosy restaurants of Vesterbro and the Vega concert hall.

Disfrutar de un cielo azul y soleado en una ciudad como Copenhague en pleno invierno es como recibir un regalo un día en el cual no celebras nada especial: te invade una mezcla de sorpresa y profundo agradecimiento y lo disfrutas plenamente con más ilusión que nunca.
Ahí entre dos aguas, conectando el mar báltico y el mar del norte, la ciudad de la sirenita de Andersen brilla como una perla en el frío norte. La capital danesa lo tiene todo: desde el encanto de su arquitectura hasta el agradable bullicioso de sus calles y terrazas cuando sale el sol, la sonrisa de sus habitantes, el verde de sus parques, el color de sus casas y la despreocupación de sus bicis sin atar en las calles.
Si en una cosa sobresalen los daneses, sin duda es el diseño, como lo puede ver cualquier curioso que visita el Museo del diseño. Su talento reside en el detalle, como en las elegantes farolas en la calle, las mesitas en las terrazas de los bares o la decoración sofisticada de cualquier local de la calle Elmegade en Nørrebro.
De Copenhague nos gustan sus rincones cautivadores, su apariencia perfecta y su esencia rompedora como por ejemplo en la ciudad libre de Christiania. En esta preciosa ciudad nos quedaríamos todo la vida, vagando entre los acogedores restaurantes de Vesterbroy la sala de concierto Vega.
