In the eternal game of light, instant photography has a clear intention, and it’s to give protagonist character to the contrast, in which the viewer is able to afford to feel the relief in their senses and thus enjoy the approach to photography.
Celeste Ortiz, who comes from Chile and is an author photographer, presents for us some clear examples, where this effect of light is clearly visible, some pure portraits, where the body of the model is as intense as the background and colors, a photographed reality that goes beyond a portrayed image.
Her name is undoubtedly one of the contemporary heroes of instant photography, and her long journey in exhibits around the world certifies it. For us it is an honor to have Celeste in POTD.
En el eterno juego de la luz, la fotografía instantánea tiene una clara intención, y es darle al contraste un protagonismo donde el espectador puede permitirse el lujo de sentir el relieve en sus sentidos y de esta forma disfrutar la aproximación a la fotografía.
Celeste Ortiz, chilena y fotógrafa de autor, presenta para nosotros muestras claras donde este efecto de la luz está claramente visible, retratos puros donde el cuerpo del modelo es una sensación tan intensa como lo es el fondo y los colores, una realidad fotografiada que va mas allá de una imagen retratada.
