Portugal’s second largest city Porto is a city of contrasts – shabby ivy-entwined buildings neighboring with cosy little cafes, flapping drying clothes outside of every window, pigeons and seagulls, lots of tourists, and colorful tiles – lots and lots of tiles, blue-and-white and incredibly cute.
Tiles are everywhere – on the floor, on the buildings, in the gift shops. Porto people are cheerful and eager to help, wine is great, and so is food – all in all, Porto is a great place to be and an incredible artistic inspiration!
La segunda ciudad más grande de Portugal, Porto, es una ciudad de contrastes: edificios de hiedra, entrelazados, en vecindarios con pequeños y acogedores cafés, en los que es habitual ver la ropa tendida en sus ventanas, palomas y gaviotas, muchos turistas y coloridos azulejos, blancos y azules e increíblemente preciosos.
Las baldosas están por todas partes – en el suelo, en los edificios, en las tiendas de regalos. Su gente es alegre y siempre dispuesta a ayudar, el vino es genial, y también la comida – en general, Porto es un gran lugar para estar ¡y una increíble inspiración artística!
