Big news coming up for the Instant photography community, which those, who are closely involved, have most likely already heard of – Instant Art expo in Arles in July. 

Curated by Stefan Merz, the exhibition hosts 25 artists from 10 countries around the world, from Finland to USA. It showcases a variety of styles, such as architectural photographs by Francesco Sambati, carefully composed nature based photographs by Ina Echternach, strong and colorful nude art by Carmen de Vos, “destroyed” works by Jean-Francois Flamey, nude sceneries by Axakadam and many others.

Each artist has his own individual way of photographing and mastering at the perfection the medium of expired Polaroid Film.

The artworks on view are recent works made in the last few years, shot on old expired Polaroid Film and new available Impossible/Polaroid Originals Film. All photos presented in the exhibition are originals, from the well known format “Type600” Polaroid to the famous “Polaroid 669”, with dimensions variable from 4x5” until 8x10”.

Llegan grandes noticias para la comunidad de fotógrafos del formato instantáneo, de la cual aquellos, que están estrechamente involucrados, han probablemente oído ya hablar de la Instant Art expo en Arles en julio.
Exposición curada por Stefan Merz, acoge a 25 artistas de 10 países de todo el mundo, desde Finlandia hasta los EE. UU. Muestra una variedad de estilos, como fotografías arquitectónicas de Francesco Sambati, fotografías cuidadosamente compuestas de Ina Echternach basadas en la naturaleza, desnudos fuertes y coloridos de Carmen de Vós, obras “destruidas” de Jean-François Flamey, paisajes desnudos de Axakadam y muchos otros.
Cada artista tiene su propia forma individual de fotografiar y dominar a la perfección el ámbito de la película expirada Polaroid.
Los trabajos a presentar son obras recientes realizadas en los últimos años, disparados en película expirada Polaroid y también en la nueva tecnología de película de Impossible / Polaroid Originals. Todas las fotos presentadas en la exposición son originales, desde el conocido formato “Type600” Polaroid hasta el famoso “Polaroid 669”, con dimensiones variables desde 4×5 “hasta 8×10”.
