Cristina Fontsaré has been the discovery of the year for us. Surely many of you will have seen her work before because it does not go unnoticed, although it has been until now that we have stopped and breathed her work that is a constant exploration in the senses of the human being.
Her impeccable technique consists of working with a Polaroid 600SE with Mamiya lens, from which Cristina extracts images in our favorite film, the one which already turned into one of the missing links (hopefully for a short time) of the instant photography : Fuji FP-100C.
Cristina is currently presenting the project in which she has been working for several years in Salt, Girona (Spain). ‘Once’, recalling the “Once upon a time”, the beginning of a visual narrative evoking childhood intimacy, staged with a representation of a magical routine of Little Red Riding Hoods. A social approach to feelings and feminine transformations that the photographer presents through her Polaroids and that invites us to feel them in the first person.
On July 12 at 7pm, she will make an unforgettable guided tour with the curator of the exhibition, Laura Cornejo, to present this work and continue with the Thread of Ariadna that her story represents. You can visit her expo until July 31 in Les Bernardes, with the artist Juanjo Sáez and the documentary photography exhibition by Maria Contreras.
Cristina Fontsaré ha sido el descubrimiento del año para nosotros. Seguramente muchos de vosotros la habréis visto antes porque su trabajo no pasa desapercibido, aunque ha sido hasta ahora que nosotros hemos parado y respirado su trabajo que es una constante exploración en los sentidos del ser humano.
Su técnica que es perfecta, trabaja últimamente con la mecánica de una Polaroid 600SE con objetivo Mamiya, de la cuál Cristina extrae imágenes en nuestra película favorita, la ya convertida en uno de los eslabones perdidos (esperemos que por poco tiempo) de la fotografía instantánea: Fuji FP-100C.
En la actualidad Cristina está presentando en Salt, Girona (España), el proyecto en el que ha estado trabajando durante varios años. ‘Once’, rememorando el “Once upon a time” o “Había una vez”, el inicio de una narrativa visual evocando la intimidad infantil, escenificada con una representación de una rutina mágica de caperucitas rojas. Un acercamiento social a sentimientos y transformaciones femeninos que la fotógrafa presenta por medio de sus Polaroids y que nos invita a sentirlas en primera persona.
El 12 de julio a las 19h realizará una imperdible visita guiada junto a la comisaria de la exposición, Laura Cornejo, para presentar esta obra y continuar con el Hilo de Ariadna que su historia representa. Exposición que podéis visitar hasta el 31 de julio en Les Bernardes, junto a el dibujante Juanjo Sáez y la exposición de fotografía documental de Maria Contreras.
