– We support full and free form of any expression, creation, intervention and / or artistic presentation, and we believe that culture should reach any person without distinction, elite or social difference.
– We consider ourselves a platform in which photography in the instantaneity should, can and must participate as a tool of support for any medium, therefore, POTD will strive to always participate actively or passively in initiatives to promote and create an action for the benefit of art.
During three days, 21 galleries and 32 artists will participate in the second edition of Young Gallery Weekend, which brings proposals to support local young galleries and independent spaces, promoting the dissemination of art and culture in Barcelona.
Local spaces filled with exhibitions, performances and lectures prepared to present a repertoire drawn up jointly by them and Escalera de Incendios, and which we strongly support as one of the cultural associations working more actively in Barcelona to support and publicize the young heritage art that is growing every day in the city.
The day of the Opening at Espronceda CENTER FOR ART & CULTURE, you can attend to the performances of Carlos Pina and Maria Cosme, visit the exhibition ‘Liquid Gender’ by Fabian Vogler, enjoy the music of Tranzenit Dj Set drinking a cold Moritz, and we, the full team of POTD shooting the photos of the night.

Lo que iba a ser una reseña será una Declaración de principios.
– Amamos el arte, la expresión pura y dinámica que estimula la creatividad en su rama más natural.
– Intentamos ser originales, con una identidad basada en un formato fotográfico que nos apasiona, respetando los demás existentes, con tolerancia infinita a cualquier creación fotográfica en la medida que estas creaciones respeten la técnica y estilo que profesa el arte mismo de la imagen.
– Apoyamos de forma total y libre cualquier expresión, creación, intervención y/o presentación artística, y consideramos que la cultura debe llegar a cualquier tipo de persona, sin distinción, elite o diferencia social.
– Nos consideramos una plataforma en la que la fotografía en la instantaneidad debe, puede y ha de participar como una herramienta en apoyo al medio que lo permita, por lo tanto, POTD hará lo posible por siempre participar activa o pasivamente en las iniciativas que promuevan y generen una acción en beneficio del arte.
Durante tres días, 21 galerías y 32 artistas, participan en el Young Gallery Weekend, segunda edición que apuesta para acercar propuestas locales apoyando galerías jóvenes y espacios independientes, promoviendo la difusión del arte y la cultura en Barcelona.
Espacios locales que se llenarán de exposiciones, performances y charlas preparadas para presentar un repertorio elaborado conjuntamente por éstos y por Escalera de Incendios, y que nosotros firmemente apoyamos como uno de las asociaciones culturales que trabajan más activamente en Barcelona para apoyar y divulgar el joven patrimonio artístico que está cada día creciendo en la ciudad.
