Rosi Offenbach – Daydreaming | Instant Photographers

Rosi Offenbach is a freelance photographer from Munich, Germany. Photography is the way how she expresses herself, her thoughts, her feelings, her memories. Rosi claims that photography helps her survive through the everyday life. The topics Rosi likes to explore are often connected with beauty ideals and gender standards.

The selection Rosi presents with us today is called Terra X – a project which explores the visualization of daydreaming.

During daydreaming, we are washed ashore to a coast full of wonders and secrets.

“If you get hold of them, they evaporate already, drifting into a further distance.

They are veiling and unveiling a reality that can never be fully grasped.

It’s a journey to TERRA X, a world without borders, accessible for everyone, a world of freedom and ease.”

Rosi Offenbach es una fotógrafa freelance de Munich, Alemania. La fotografía es la forma en la que ella expresa sus pensamientos, sus sentimientos, sus recuerdos. De esta forma Rosi afirma que la fotografía le ayuda a sobrevivir a través de la vida cotidiana. Los sujetos que que a Rosi le gusta explorar están a menudo conectados con ideales de belleza y estándares de género.

Durante el ensueño somos bañados en tierra en una costa llena de maravillas y de secretos.

“Si se apoderan de ellos, se evaporan , quedando a la deriva a considerable distancia. Están velando y desvelando una realidad que nunca se puede comprender plenamente. Es un viaje a TERRA X, un mundo sin fronteras, accesible para todos, un mundo de libertad y tranquilidad.”
