Whenever I have an idea of the musicians regarding their work , I create their personality in my mind and I imagine even their intimate details , their favourite food , the perfume they use, the name of their pet and if they go biking to their jobs every day, like myself. I get to imagine them in their spaces and how they communicate with their band , and how they decide to smile at the moment they feel that a song comes out the way they expect or how they frown when they discover a note that dances in the air .
Samantha de Siena amidst a stormy day made me realize that the image I had of her was certain: it is a lovely woman , a strong and slow voice, and gentle hand movements that as I have heard before evoke hurricanes during her concerts.
Our goodbye was a see you soon , I’ll see her again the 21st of November on the Luz de Gas for the Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival, a unique moment to feel close to her energy and charisma , one of the great voices of its kind , and which will delight us with a little preview from her upcoming album , Lifting The Veil , great production that will soon see the light , and like herself, will shine by its charm .

Siempre me hago una imagen de los músicos a partir de su trabajo, les creo una personalidad y me imagino incluso sus detalles íntimos, su comida favorita, el perfume que usan, el nombre de su mascota y si como yo van cada día en bicicleta al trabajo. Llego a imaginarlos en sus espacios y en la forma como comunican con su grupo, como deciden sonreír en el momento en el que sienten que una canción sale como ellos esperan o de la forma como fruncen el ceño cuando descubren una nota que baila en el aire.
Samantha de Siena en medio de un día de tormenta me hizo descubrir que la imagen que tenia de ella era cierta: es una mujer encantadora, una voz fuerte y pausada, y suaves movimientos de manos de las que he oído antes que en sus conciertos evocan huracanes.
Nuestro adiós fue un hasta pronto, la veré el día 21 como invitada en la sala Luz de Gas para el Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival, un momento único para sentir de cerca su energía y su carisma, una de las grandes voces en su genero, y en la cual nos deleitara con algunos adelantos de su próximo álbum, Lifting The Veil, gran producción que pronto vera la luz, y que como ella, brillara por su encanto.
