Today we present Rocío Aguirre, the Chilean-born photographer specializing in the field of fashion and advertising. Despite her versatility working with different formats, she seems to have found her own distinctive stamp in portraits of the analog nature.

She was very well received in the Polaroid community following a campaign session for Pepsi with Paloma Mami. Being there, she did not miss the opportunity to shoot some snapshots that she would later upload to her Instagram account (@rocioaguirrev).

During the quarantine, Rocío found the ideal setting to experiment with Polaroids, promoted in part by the lack of means to reveal her material.

Her shots have a formal but immediate way, capturing the essence of friends, people around her, and contemporary artists, with unique results. The incessant search for inspiration combined with her experience results in photographs that do not renounce the classic technical character, and that nevertheless show spontaneity, finding beauty in the vulnerability of the person portrayed.
