Sylvia Plath, Andy Warhol and The Factory, The Girls, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Catcher in the Rye, Friends, Seinfeld, Woody Allen – to name just the very tip of the iceberg of the cultural movement associated with New York. And the list can continue for so long.
Almost any important, or said in a more vulgar way, famous artist, writer, photographer, movie director has in some way been influenced or inspired by New York. And this city breezes a tremendous energy. It inspires, and makes you want to eat a little piece of its cake.
People come to New York and fall in love with New York. Some can’t live without New York and some can’t live in New York. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island – all have their own story and a micro-clima, almost countries on their own.
