This year has been very special for Papa Topo, one of our most beloved groups. Special for basically two reasons: first, because Elefant have published their entertaining LP debut in June called “Black Opal”, a feast of eclectic and unprejudiced pop; and secondly, because Adrià Arbona and his men have consolidated as a band. If you have not seen them live yet, you have a new opportunity to enjoy the concert organized by HiJauh and Ultra-Local Records for Poble Nou street celebrations (Barcelona).
The concert will take place on Saturday, September 17th, alongside other illustrious artists such as Joan Colomo, Emilio José, The Zephyr Bones, Mujeres or Dj Verrier. Before the event, we settle with this crazy video that they recorded for the album’s title track and that has appeared as its preview for a couple of months now.

Básicamente por dos motivos: en primer lugar, porque Elefant les publicó en junio “Ópalo Negro”, su entretenido LP de debut, todo un festín de pop ecléctico y desprejuiciado; y en segundo lugar, Adrià Arbona y los suyos han demostrado en sus directos que se han consolidado como banda.
