After the commotion of their debut cassette Damp Face Ep (Burger Records, 2012), La Luz published Weirdo Shrine last year, their second album with the label Hardly Art. With this work, the Seattle group is consolidated in style, a kind of dark surf reminiscent of the girl garage bands of the 60’s. And their “live” is overwhelming, with really vibrant moments, as is their lead Shana Cleveland when she plays some of her guitar solos. If you want to check it out, do not hesitate to track them because they are touring Europe and visit some cities of the peninsula. Including Barcelona on September 8th in La [2] of Apolo, at a party hosted by La Castanya where Boogarins and The Zephyr Bones will also play. The afterparty will feature the legendary Ian Svenonius side by side Turista at the turntables.
