We met Sturle Dagsland at the Open Air IV pre-party. Two long-haired Scandinavians were carrying their heavy music equipment into Mutuo. Both long-haired Norwegians were dressed in a manner so interesting, that we decided that their music must be something special. And special it was – couple of days later, during the Open Air Festival IV, when we approached the stage to take the Polaroid photos, where Sturle Dagsland was performing, a group of girls in the front row tapped one of us in the shoulder, and asked – open-mouthed, a look of thrill in their eyes – who are these guys?

Well, Sturle Dagsland, we said. “They are something”, the girls nodded. And there on the stage, there were them, the two brothers, already in the middle of the concert – ecstatically doing their incredible sounds, jumping, banging the heads – converting cacophony into musical balance. Great vocals and great performance.
